The Adventures of Wolfia & SheetGhost [part one]

Once upon a time, there was a half-woman, half-wolf creature named Wolfia.

She was a very happy-go-lucky individual, with lots of friends from all over the world.

Nevertheless, there were not many creatures like her, and sometimes, she got lonely and felt out of place.  How nice it would be, Wolfia often mused to herself, if she could meet someone who spoke her language?  I mean, don’t get her wrong or anything, she loved all the creatures she was friends with and deeply enjoyed their company, but she was tired of feeling so… different.

Wolfia decided at long last it was time to ditch her tiny studio apartment and move into a proper house.  Wouldn’t you know it, but the house she moved into, was haunted?  Right away all sorts of odd things started to happen, but Wolfia was not alarmed.  Nonplussed, she announced [to the ghosts? to herself? we’re still not entirely sure at this point], “I am going to smudge this house in the proper way and put these spirits to rest.”

And that is just what she did.  She went about unpacking her sacred herbs and medicines, and once she had everything gathered into one place, she prayed over it in a good way and began to smudge the house in the way her Nokomis [grandmother] had taught her….
